My internet marketing career has been a steady sequence of singles and doubles. I don't hit that many home runs, but I don't strike out very often.

I don't do any joint ventures with big "guru" names, I don't release my own products and I don't jump on every new release going.

I market in a variety of niches, from health to sports. Currently I market in 11 different niches and make a minimum of $2,000 per niche per month. Lots of singles and doubles but they all add up to a very comfortable income at the end of the month.

My marketing is very selective, If the product doesn't do what it should - I don't promote it. I never promote any software or services I don't own and use myself.

If it works and I like it, I tell people about it. If they choose to go with my recommendation and use my affiliate links to buy the particular product - I'm not one to say no, but I flat out refuse to promote garbage.

Internet Marketing, as with any other business, is all about taking a series of small steps, that combined, work out to a successful business.

It's not necessarily about re-inventing stuff, but it's certainly not about blindly following other people either.

I've done a lot of dumb things in my life, including taking a ride in a Tupolev Strategic Bomber (THE most terrifying thing I've ever experienced), but one thing I've always done well is "taking care of business".

Internet Marketing is a Business. It's not a hobby and for sure, it's not something you can devote a couple of hours a week to and expect to see any kind of results.

Treat it like a hobby, you get hobby returns. Treat it like a business and you get business results.

I've always been good at testing stuff and analyzing results. It probably has something to do with the way my brain is wired, but it made me a very good living for 25 years, and is standing me in good stead in my online ventures. I actually like testing stuff....

I've found a lot of stuff that works, a lot of tactics and tips that generate a nice income for me and managed to find some nice tools to use.

My sincere hope is to pass you some of these tactics and tips and kick-start your Internet Marketing career as well.
