Enter Submission Software. For every new website I publish I need to submit my content to Social Bookmarking sites, RSS Aggregators and Press Release Syndication sites. Luckily I use some high quality tools to take all the drudgery out of the process. Using this submission software means I can automatically submit to:
Pretty major time saver. Even spending a minimum of 10 minutes per site doing all these sites manually would take a full 24 hours. That's for one website !!! I don't have that amount of time to spend on top of all the other things I need to do to make my sales. Crazy really, as website promotion is where the traffic comes from - but I really don't have 24 hours to spend clicking from one social bookmarking site to the next. Automating the process makes perfect sense. I can leverage my time and quite simply, get more done in the shortest possible time and with the least possible effort. I'm not talking about spamming here. It's a case of automating the submission of good, relevant, unique content websites. I've tested dozens of programs. Not only from a "features" point of view. I test for "results" and in my book: Results = Traffic + Sales. Internet Marketing, as with any other business, is all about taking a series of small steps, that combined, work out to a successful business.
It's not necessarily about re-inventing stuff, but it's certainly not about blindly following other people either.
I've done a lot of dumb things in my life, including taking a ride in a Tupolev Strategic Bomber (THE most terrifying thing I've ever experienced), but one thing I've always done well is "taking care of business".
Internet Marketing is a Business. It's not a hobby and for sure, it's not something you can devote a couple of hours a week to and expect to see any kind of results.
Treat it like a hobby, you get hobby returns. Treat it like a business and you get business results.
I've always been good at testing stuff and analyzing results. It probably has something to do with the way my brain is wired, but it made me a very good living for 25 years, and is standing me in good stead in my online ventures. I actually like testing stuff....
I've found a lot of stuff that works, a lot of tactics and tips that generate a nice income for me and managed to find some nice tools to use.
My sincere hope is to pass you some of these tactics and tips and kick-start your Internet Marketing career as well.
